Blur 乐队成立于 80 年代末，原名 Seymour，“Seymour”一词出自美国作家大卫·塞林格的小说，后经唱片公司建议改为 Blur。1995 年的专辑《Parklife》多首曲目均为排行榜冠军单曲，1997 年的同名专辑《Blur》则放下典型的英伦风格进行着更为另类的探索。Blur 伴随九十年代 Brit-Pop 的浪潮，与 Oasis 等同时期的英伦摇滚乐队一起成长发展，影响了无数英国乃至全世界的摇滚青年。经过解散和重组的风波后，他们于 2008 年正式重组、再次出发，继续给乐迷以更多惊喜。
