巴洛克吉他、大魯特琴、Cremonese 與 Neapolitan 曼陀林，烏德琴，阿提奧巴托魯特琴——以色列器樂演奏家 Alon Sariel 用如此豐富的樂器種類演繹了這張令人着迷的專輯。他用大魯特琴傾情演奏的《Cello Suite No. 1》充分證明，巴赫的音樂在撥弦樂器上可以得到令人信服的詮釋。他改用更富張力的阿提奧巴托魯特琴演繹《Suite No. 2》，並用厄烏德琴（一種類似魯特琴的中東樂器）二次演繹了其中的薩拉班德舞曲。此外，Sariel 還演奏了他自己創作的《Mandolin Partita》。樂曲包括 6 個樂章，自始至終滲透着巴赫的影響，又加入了現代風格的轉折與和聲，與 Sariel 對巴赫作品的深刻詮釋相映成趣。
